For mum Zuzana, the Hospital Hořovice was her first choice. “The Hospital Hořovice was our first choice. It was recommended to us by my sister-in-law, who gave birth here and was very pleased,” says the mum, for whom Leonard is her first baby.
Little Leonard was born on Monday evening at exactly 10.30 pm. “The birth went smoothly. We’re still finding our feet in the postnatal ward, but so far we’re very happy,” says Zuzana, describing her first moments with her baby at the Hořovice Maternity Hospital.
As is traditional on this significant occasion, representatives of the Hořovice maternity hospital wished the family, above all, good health, much joy and many wonderful moments together. Mum and Leonard also received a gift pack from the hospital pharmacy.
“The birth of our thousandth baby is always a wonderful event for us and a reminder of the important work our entire team carries out every day. We wish Leonard and his mum, above all, good health, and the whole family many happy moments together,” says Dr Milena Dokoupilová, Deputy Head of Paediatric Care and Chief physician of the Neonatal Department.
“Every birth is a unique moment, and we’re delighted to be there when a new member joins the family. We are delighted that this year, at Hořovice Maternity Hospital, we have already welcomed our 1,000th baby earlier than last year. We wish Leonard and his parents all the very best for their life together,” adds Dr Radek Havlas, chief physician of the Gynaecology and Obstetrics Department.
