The island of Kos was chosen partly because of its symbolism - it is the place where the most famous doctor of all times, the ancient Hippocrates, was born and worked, but also because it is one of the most beautiful Greek resorts. The Atlantis hotel complex, located right on the beach, is set in well-kept gardens with exotic flora and palm trees. Near the hotel is the centre of the famous resort of Lambi, where there are many excellent restaurants, tavernas, bars and shops.
And what were your impressions of the holiday?
"The trip was very nice, it was my first time in Greece so really an experience for me in every aspect. I will definitely go back to Greece again, I can't say what was the best part, the sea, the resort in the garden and the abundant food was great," says warehouse accountant Ilona Trejbalova.
"We were thrilled! The hotel, the accommodation, the food, the service - everything was hassle-free and up to standard. It was not my first time in Greece, but it was my first time in Kos and I was pleasantly surprised. Beautiful sea, beaches, but also history," says Petra Šišáková, station nurse of the anaesthesia department.
"I was pleasantly surprised that I won the trip. There is a great interest in this benefit among the hospital staff. 14 employees from each hospital of Akeso Holding are always selected in a vote among colleagues. It is a very generous gift from the owner. I was in Kos with my family and my daughter, who also learned to swim there," says Jiří Pichlík, head nurse at Hořovice Hospital, about his win.
