The documentary, created by authors Petr Záruba and Lukáš Houdek, offers the public an artistic view of the work of the Health Clowns and shows how they make contact with child patients and how they communicate with them, especially using music therapy. Most importantly, the documentary captures the often surprising and encouraging reactions of children with various disabilities.
The main performers are the pediatric patients of the Gorovice Department of Intensive Care for Children, doctors, nurses and health clowns who regularly visit the department and attend to the children.
The documentary captures how children respond to music therapy and how it shifts their perception of their surroundings. Thanks to the long-term cooperation between the Gorovice Children's Intensive Care Unit and the Health Clowns, the clowns themselves observe the progress the children make with each visit. It shows how music therapy stimulates them, develops them and brings them joy.
