Hospital pharmacy in new premises from summer

Since the beginning of February, the planned reconstruction of the pharmacy adjacent to the hospital administration building has been underway. The reconstruction will be completed by the beginning of summer. The pharmacy will remain open in its current premises throughout the renovation period. Only the entrance has been relocated from the road side.

"After the reconstruction, the new pharmacy will serve its customers in a larger, more comfortable and modern environment. In addition, according to the architectural plans, the new pharmacy will be more illuminated because its ceiling will be glazed," says Mgr. Tomáš Veverka, the hospital's chief pharmacist.

The main purpose of the modifications is to improve the comfort of the clients: the dispensing area (the outhouse) will be expanded, the number of dispensing points will be increased - patients will have three dispensing points for prescriptions and two for free sales. Not only mothers with children will appreciate the opportunity to sit down and relax. The new main entrance will allow easy access for all, as it will be equipped with wide doors and a wheelchair ramp.

The renovation will be completed by early summer. Pharmacy operations in the existing premises will be uninterrupted throughout the renovations. Only the entrance has been relocated from the road side.
