Visitors to Hořovice Hospital cannot help but notice the photographs and paintings that decorate the waiting rooms, inpatient wards and outpatient clinics of the hospital. Most of them are photos of various cities and sights, either from the Czech Republic or abroad. The existing pictures will be joined by four more, which the Hořovice hospital received from a charity auction of the Motol hospital.

"These are paintings drawn by children from the children's cardiac centre of the Motol hospital," explains Tomáš Petsinis, the operational and technical deputy of the Hořovice hospital. In July this year, these pictures were auctioned and the proceeds from the event were used to improve the equipment of the Motol cardiac centre. The appearance of the children's ward includes the depiction of 24 exotic animals, which are placed in the children's ward and in the Chronic Intensive Care Unit - OCHRIP. The existing paintings will now be joined by paintings of Motol children.
