"As of Monday 22 January 2018, the hospital is launching a barrier system and the related change in the parking system and fees for entering the hospital premises and parking areas," says Tomáš Petsinis, the operations and technical director of the Hořovice Hospital. According to him, the first two hours of parking in the new car park will be free of charge.
It will only be possible to enterthe hospital premises free of charge for 20 minutes, which is sufficient time for unloading or transporting a patient. Longer delays in the hospital grounds are already charged. Parking on the premises will be divided into two time zones, from 06:00 to 22:00, where parking up to one hour is charged 50 CZK, each additional hour 100 CZK. From 22:00 to 06:00 hours the first 180 minutes will be free, each additional hour 100 CZK. The only exception is for ZTP and ZTP/P card holders, who can stay in the hospital area for 4 hours for free, regardless of the time zone.
After a number of problems, caused mainly by lengthy administrative procedures, but also by other technical problems, the new parking lot for clients and patients was successfully approved at the end of December. According to owner Sotirios Zavalianis, the total investment to build it is around 12 million. The new car park is located under the hospital, next to the hospital pharmacy.-
