Pharmacy in Hořovice Hospital will be open during this year's holidays

"We want to meet our customers who often need our range of products during the holidays. The pharmacy will be open during the Christmas holidays, including Christmas Eve," says Mgr. Tomáš Veverka, head of the Hořovice Pharmacy. "The greatest demand during Christmas is for cold and sore throat preparations, prescriptions and antibiotics for both children and adult patients."

"Recently, we have also launched the possibility of booking medicines through e-prescription, where information on all stock of medicines in our pharmacy in Hořovice and Beroun is also available," says the head of the pharmacy, adding: "We often have medicines that are in short supply; for example, mothers regularly buy Vigantol from us, which is hard to find and is recommended for infants. We have a wide range of medicines and food supplements, and stock a wider range than normal. In this regard, we are primarily concerned with the health, satisfaction and convenience of the patient. We do not try to substitute medicines or offer substitutes, we stick to what the doctor prescribes. We provide many medications without a co-payment or with a lower than usual co-payment. Overall, we stock thousands of items."
