The anti-COVID-19 drug LAGEVRIO is indicated for the treatment of mild to moderate coronavirus COVID-19 disease in adults with a positive SARS-COV-2 diagnostic test who have at least one risk factor for developing severe disease.
"For example, patients may be prescribed this medication by a general practitioner on a 'test voucher number 06'. With this document, the patient or an authorised person arrives at the Hořovice Hospital at the Central Reception, where the doctor verifies the necessary requirements and you can go to the hospital pharmacy. Here, the medicine will be issued to you against the examination voucher. Please note covid positive patients that the dispensing in the pharmacy for these patients will work at the dispensing window on the side of the pharmacy. Lagevrio is in the form of hard capsules and can therefore be taken at home," says Mgr. Tomáš Veverka, head of the pharmacy.

The product is not a substitute for vaccination against COVID-19, which is the only long-term means of acquiring specific immunity. Persons who have been administered antivirals against COVID-19 continue to follow the isolation or quarantine policy according to the relevant regulations.
