The pharmacy of the Hořovice hospital recommends the use of quality sun protection products

Most people use sun protection products when they go on holiday to the seaside or mountains. However, UV protection is important not only when sunbathing in the summer months, but also when just going for a walk or sitting in the garden, even now that the sun is slowly but surely starting to get stronger. Nowadays, people can choose from a range of sunscreens and body lotions, but only some of them are really good quality. The pharmacy of the hospital in Horovice offers interested people, for example, Daylong products from the company Spirig, whose representative came to the pharmacy to introduce the products. The products are the first in the world to be registered as medical devices, based on clinically proven prevention of skin cancer.

"We sell sun protection products not only in the spring and summer months, but also in the winter when people go to the mountains. Fortunately, most people have learnt that sun protection is very important and that it doesn't pay to underestimate it, which is why in May we start to see an increase in demand for various sun creams and body lotions. People are taught that reliable protection prevents possible skin damage or the development of skin cancer. We offer quality products to those interested, which include, for example, Daylong products, which contain a special factor and thanks to this you only need to use them once a day," described the head of the Hořovice Hospital Pharmacy, Mgr. Tomáš Veverka.




Under Daylong products, people can imagine complete sun protection. In addition, Daylong actinica is clinically proven to prevent skin cancer and is therefore registered as a medical device. "In addition, we have a wide range of products for children and adults with SPF factors from 15 to 50. All products are specific in that they last all day after one application. This is because we have a patent on liposomes, which are contained in our products and which are built into the top layers of the skin, so they cannot be washed off with water alone. So you just have to put it on and after twenty minutes you get the so-called water resistance, which must not be confused with the height factor," explained Jaroslav Dobiáš, adding that the company also offers after-sun products.
