The owner of Hořovice hospital ing. Sotirios Zavalianis often visits the maternity hospital U Sluneční brány in Hořovice, recently mainly thanks to the final reconstruction of the maternity and newborn ward.
On Friday, December 5, he came here especially to visit Iva Neumann from Králův Dvůr and her son Mark, born on December 2.
The new mother received not only congratulations from the owner of the hospital, but also a financial bonus of CZK 30,000. She also received a beautiful bouquet, which was presented to her by the head of the gynaecology and obstetrics department, MUDr. Aleš Klán, on behalf of NH Hospital Hořovice.
Why so much fame? The birth of little Mareček became the 1000th birth in the Hořovice maternity hospital since the beginning of this year. At this moment it is already absolutely certain that the previous record set last year in this increasingly famous maternity hospital will be surpassed. As of 9 December, the doctors and medical staff had already performed 1,029 deliveries. Last year there were 1011 deliveries, and 900 the year before.
