"Our pharmacy offers patients extended advice on the main topic, which is the treatment of minor and major injuries. Each of us has encountered abrasions, burns and other types of injuries while working in the pharmacy," says Mgr. Tomáš Veverka, the head pharmacist in Horovice.
Most people ask for help at the pharmacy and buy disinfectant or a plaster, and appreciate the advice of a pharmacist or pharmaceutical assistant. "So let's advise them on the best way to treat minor injuries, what cover or patch to use on the wound and how to promote healing. We will also show them when self-treatment is no longer appropriate and medical treatment is needed," adds the pharmacist from Horovice.
