The students were accompanied to the Hořovice transfusion station by Mgr. Marie Štěpničková, a professor at the Beroun Gymnasium J. Barrand, the initiator of this event. As she told us during the donations, this event is guaranteed by the students of the 3rd and 4th years. "The Donate Blood, Give Life event is in its eighth season and is repeated up to three times a year. In total, we can boast of nearly 150 litres of blood donated. Thanks to all the students who join the volunteer donors, endure and bring their family members, friends and friends to the ranks of donors," says the obviously satisfied Beroun teacher.
A total of 25 current or former students of the J. Barrand Gymnasium attended Thursday's event.
