During November and part of December, several outpatient clinics will be moved from the main hospital building to the new premises.

"During November and December, some surgeries will be moved," says Tomáš Petsinis, the Hořovice hospital's deputy director of operations and technology, adding: "The building of the outpatient clinics was built in order to expand the specialised outpatient clinics, thus expanding the care provided to patients." The new outpatient clinic building was built next to the main gatehouse, which has also undergone a complete reconstruction.

The gatehouse is equipped with the latest technology and has complete control and security systems. Only ambulances and medical transport vehicles can pass through the gate at the gatehouse.

"For patients and visitors to the hospital who cannot use the parking lot in front of the hospital building and are forced to use the entrance to the premises, there is an entrance through the gate under the pharmacy," explains the operations and technical deputy. "The entire structure was built to improve patient safety and comfort."

The outpatient clinics to be found in the new extension:

Oncology, a private dermatology outpatient clinic, a psychiatric outpatient clinic, a nutrition and nutrition clinic, a palliative care outpatient clinic, a pain management outpatient clinic, osteology, a sleep outpatient clinic and speech therapy.
