Running of the paramedics

On Tuesday 19 April, the Hořovice Hospital team took part in the CZECH RUN series running race in a very dignified manner. It was the first ever edition of the ČSOB Health Run. A total of 3,800 runners took part in the 4 x 5 kilometre relay race, i.e. almost a thousand relays.

The race also included the Medical Run category, in which twelve Hořovice medics competed, i.e. three relays. The largest representation in the race were the paramedics of the children's ward, led by their head, MUDr. Mahulena Mojžíšová. Other participants in the race were representatives from the Gynaecology, ENT, Surgery and Administration departments.

The good news in the inclement weather was that all the competitors made it to the finish line! The first of the Hořovice teams with a time of 01:33:11 was the Dream Team (Jan Ševít, Václav Šmíd, Daniela Gregorová, Miloš Koudelka). The second place with the time 01:49:28 went to the group Umělá Formule ( Šárka Veselá, Kateřina Kolenková, Petra Lefflerová, Kateřina Vicková), while the third place with the time 01:55:05 went to the relay team Nemléčné příkrmy ( Mahulena Mojžíšová, Denisa Creasy, Barbora Dudová, Pavla Urxová).
