For one day, Majaland was transformed into a place filled with children’s laughter, excitement, and shared experiences. This traditional event for employees of the AKESO healthcare holding company and their families drew colleagues from all of our healthcare facilities and offered an opportunity to spend time together outside the workplace.
Visitors of all ages enjoyed a day full of attractions, fairy-tale characters, and a rich supporting program. There was no shortage of popular attractions, water-based tattoos, or a balloon show that entertained both children and adults.
“I’m here with my husband and my children, who are four and six years old, and this is our second time at Majaland. But this time it’s really great! Now we’re heading to the climbing frame and the balloon pool. We’re really enjoying ourselves, and it’s a great way to spend time together,” says Klára, a payroll accountant at Hospital Hořovice.
Jana, a nurse at the Rehabilitation Hospital Beroun, was also thrilled . “I came with my family, and we’re so happy we can go on a trip like this together. It’s a really nice event, and the program is packed with activities. We just saw the balloon show, and we all enjoyed it—both the kids and us adults.”
For some families, the visit to Majaland was their very first experience. “My daughter and I went to see *The Dancing Flower*, and wow—that was something! This is our first time here. We arrived half an hour ago, but we’ve already managed to do so much—even the roller coaster. I like that both younger and older kids can have fun here—and actually, we adults can too,” smiles Tomáš, the husband of an employee at the Senimed Pharmacy.
Every year, AKESO Children’s Day is an opportunity to thank our employees for their daily work, dedication, and the care they provide to patients. At the same time, it serves as a reminder that behind every healthcare professional and support staff member there are family members and loved ones who provide them with vital support.
