We invite you to a clinical seminar organised by the Mental Health Rehabilitation Centre, which will explore the importance of peer support workers in modern psychiatric care. The speakers will share their experiences from day-to-day practice and outline the opportunities and challenges involved in effective collaboration between professionals and peer support workers.

What role does a peer worker play in a multidisciplinary team? How can their own experience of mental illness enrich client care and support collaboration amongst professionals?

Come and be inspired by an open discussion on how combining professional expertise with personal recovery experience can contribute to higher-quality and more sensitive care for clients.
