"We donate blood regularly," said Martin Solař, a physics and chemistry teacher at the Václav Hraběte Gymnasium in Hořovice, who organizes the visits and the students' blood donations. "The donation is voluntary among the final year students and I am pleased that there are still so many young people who want to help selflessly," described the Hořovice teacher.
"There is great power in donating blood. Not only the feeling you get from being able to help, but you see a lot of people around you that want to do the same. I personally started donating blood because I had a sick relative whose life expectancy was extended by 2 whole years thanks to transfusions," added Martin Solař.
